Free Loners (Hitori) Online

Share this page to Google Classroom

Hitori, also known as "Loners," is a logic puzzle game that originated in Japan. The goal of the game is to eliminate numbers in a grid by shading or marking them based on specific rules. The remaining unshaded cells must meet certain criteria, creating a unique solution for each puzzle.

Black out some of the squares, in such a way that:

  • no number appears twice in any row or column
  • no two black squares share an edge
  • the white squares form a single connected group through their edges

Click in a square to black it out, and again to uncover it. Right-click in a square to mark it with a circle, indicating that you're sure it should not be blacked out.
